Press release
imperia 9 content management system available from September 2010 onwards.
imperia 9: More comfort for authors and administrators
Among the new features is the individually configurable dashboard and the associated widgets, allowing the user to retain an overview of all operating and conrol elements at all times. The integrated workflow engine with its new visual document progress display offers authors additional assistance: During each work step, users can see there they are in the workflow and can easily jump forwards or backwards to other points.
The graphical user interface of imperia 9 can be individually adapted for individual users or user groups. In addition, the content management system can be optimised for any terminal. It can therefore be easily used via the iPad or iPhone, for example. This reduces the response time and makes it possible to update editorial content or daily blog entries while travelling, for example.
'We have shortened the click paths, simplified processes and thus made imperia 9 even leaner than before. This results in a clear increase in efficiency. Thus all users have more fun, regardless of whether they are authors, administrators or developers,' explains Christian Batz, Chairman of the Board of imperia AG and responsible for the Products and Marketing departments. 'In total, we have put eleven years of development work into imperia 9. This has resulted in a content management system that is sophisticated, reliable and especially sustainable.'
Just like its predecessors, imperia 9 is process-orientated, easy to use and has an open, platform-independent system architecture.
