Interact was created early 1995 as the multimedia department of Concept Factory s.a., a marketing and communications consulting agency based in Luxembourg. Coming from the marketing side of communications, our objective was right from the start to develop not mere technology marvels but powerful communication tools that fit the strategic business needs of our customers. Our positioning was thus rather based upon the one of a digital marketing company than the one of an IT developing studio.

Over the years, our staff has gown from its two founders (Daniel Eischen and Pol Goetzinger) to a team of 22, including the graphical artists from our mother company Concept Factory. Our very specific approach of technology roaming, has enabled us to constantly develop innovative communication tools that rely on up-to-date technology standards and know-how (view list of development highlights). In 1997, the learning project ROBBI was awarded the European Award for Educational Multimedia Projects; in 2000, the website www.bcee.lu obtained the New Media Award for best website in Luxembourg and was ranked as one of the ten best financial European websites by the Wall Street Journal.

In May 2001, Interact was singled out as an independent incorporation (société anonyme). The company has active links with AnthraSite, a Tunisian web-agency partly owned by Concept Factory. This Tunisian partnership was also granted support by the Luxembourgish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the context of bilateral development aid. Numerous projects are carried out in joint task forces for the Tunisian and Luxembourg market.

Today Interact mainly concentrates on the mobile revolution and the challenge of multi-channel communication. Developments in the area of wireless LAN, PDA, content management systems and location-based services are some examples for this new approach.
