OCE bookmarklet – fast, direct and browser-independent
To please all fans of shortcuts, the new imperia CMS 9.1 release now makes the OneClickEdit Bookmarklet (OCE Bookmarklet) accessible to everyone. Besides Internet Explorer und Firefox this convenient function can now be used within all common browsers such as Chrome, Safari and Opera. A simple Drag & Drop operation or clicking with the right mouse button while the pointer is in the bookmark list of the browser allows immediate access to the processing functions of a document. You can change your websites quickly and easily from the web browser - without switching between two applications.
Desktop configuration - short and sweet
User-friendliness is further improved by the improved desktop configuration. It is now even easier to configure the desktop in imperia CMS 9.1 using Drag & Drop. When the meta-information of a document is changed by a user, the desktop is reloaded and the changes immediately become visible. You can easily and quickly configure your desktop and adapt it to your individual needs.
iWE2 – simply better
The new iWE2 (imperia WYSIWYG Editor 2) provides you with improved and simplified configuration options. The API is not only much simpler - it is also much more flexible. iWE2 is delivered with the new imperia CMS 9.1, in addition to the iWE1. This allows you to switch right away to this much more convenient editor.
Create language versions - easy to copy, quick to translate
There is now good news for companies with a multilingual web presence. imperia CMS provides the option of simply copying an existing website to create a new language version. Time-consuming reconstruction of the pages is no longer necessary, as content and structure are adopted and only need to be translated into the new language. This extremely efficient process saves the authors considerable time and effort.

More options for reparsing - unlimited opportunities
Reparsing in imperia CMS 9.1 has been improved to a level that allows individual selection of the reparsing method in future. Our solution offers a new way to do this: The entire content can be regenerated when changes have only been made to the design. This can be done without recalculating the reference dependencies. Overall, website adaptations can now be handled much faster and in a more flexible way by using the new reparsing function.
Multiple actions in the Workflow Grid - all in one go
We have also improved the centrepiece of our system - the Workflow Grid. You can instantly achieve several results with one action. You can mark various Workflow PlugIns in the workflow grid and shift, delete or process them together. Simply mark the relevant PlugIns with a drag box and pull the box over the workflow steps to be marked. The paths linking the marked PlugIns are then highlighted. It is now quicker and easier to see whether the intended changes will have the desired impact on the total Workflow.

Translation of templates - centrally managed and efficient
Another new feature of imperia CMS 9.1 is the internationalisation of templates. imperia CMS templates can now be localised. The strings in the templates to be translated are marked by a translation function. The strings are then extracted into an external file that can be displayed like a vocabulary list. As soon as the translations have been entered, imperia CMS adapts the strings to the user's language settings. This set of multilingual strings can be easily extended and edited. You can orderly administrate the multilingual templates in external files and introduce new languages on a step-by-step basis.
